664Here's an awesome application of the Bomb Jump in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for SNES.
By precisely lining up Link's sword with lines in the floor tiles then placing a bomb and positioning yourself carefully, you can launch yourself from the bridge straight to the platform with the Magic Hammer.
This speedrun trick saves you a good 10 to 15 seconds in the first Dark World dungeon because it allows you to skip that dark room with the annoying maze.
