Theres not many true spiritual successor video games out there these days, as many companies often hold their properties for sakes of a remaster or remake. But from time to time, these properties lay dormant for far too long despite their demand. Jet Set Radio was a prime example of one of these long lost but not forgotten series that was due for a revival. Enter Bomb Rush CyberFunk. Since SEGA wasn't doing any work on the franchise, fans looked to Hideki Naganuma and Team Reptile to take the reigns. In this video I review the game and explore what makes it such a perfect example of a spiritual successor.
