Bomberman 64: The Second Attack! 100% Playthrough (7X- Final Custom Parts and Multiplayer Sample)
Collecting all the remaining Custom Parts, and also showing off some of the Multiplayer gameplay.
Using the Custom Parts in this game is a little tricky, since the game loads the Custom Parts data into Multiplayer through a Controller Pak; I'd be screwed if I didn't have a working one lying around. Using at least the Hand and Leg Custom Parts will give you both a Glove and Bomb Kick powerup right out of the gate, which is useful to have against the Level 5 CPUs that also have a built in Speed power-up.
...That being said, even the Level 5 CPUs aren't terribly bright, as this video shows. They'll scurry away from any nearby bombs and stand there until the bombs explode, which I use to my advantage.
Multiplayer Modes:
Survival: Last man standing wins. Simple enough. Dead players can appear as ghosts and hijack the controls of other players for a few seconds.
Battle Royal: Everyone starts with 100 points. +10 points for everyone you bomb. -5 points every time you're bombed. -15 points for self-destructs. The one with the most points at the end wins.
Score Attack: Collect as many items as you can to increase your score. You can bomb other players to make them drop their points. The one with the most points at the end wins.
King & Knights: Team battle. Your team loses a heart every time someone on your team gets bombed. Your team loses three hearts if your king gets bombed, and the king will teleport to a random spot. The first team to deplete the other's hearts wins.
Key Trial: Critters and blocks hide three keys. The first one to grab two keys wins. You can bomb key-bearers to make them drop their keys.
The Skull item might do something useful like make all your bombs explode liked pumped bombs...or you could just get turned into a hamster that can't use bombs. The Evil item might make a tornado on screen...or just give everyone a random Skull effect, or make the whole arena invisible.
Recorded with Roxio Game Capture HD, graphically enhanced with Monoprice AV-HDMI converter, and edited with Wondershare Filmora.
