After hundreds of hours sunk into Slay the Spire, a worthy successor has finally come into the station. Monster Train is a masterful blend of deck building, rogue-lite, tower defense, and boss rush features that coalesces into an addictive and fun loop that I just can't get enough of. If you like Slay the Spire, I highly recommend Monster Train.

Now onto the beer: for this game I pulled out all the stops. I dug a little deeper into the caboose and pulled out a 2017 Monster's Park Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels. This beer aged super gracefully and 3 years in the cellar did not diminish the quality at all. Decadent blend of cinnamon, chocolate, spices, and bourbon heat all melded together wonderfully. Modern Times knocked this monster out of the park! What, why are you booing my joke?
