Welcome back guys and we are back with another bonelab video. We are jumping on the bonelab hype train once more as I am here to tell you that BONELAB WILL have multiplayer. Just not in the way that you think it will. Let me explain but in the meantime make sure to subscribe if you cant wait for bonelab.
People have asked will BONELAB be Multiplayer? YES!! it will!
So lads in order to explain this the best way I can we have to go back in time to boneworks. Now when boneworks was released it was an incredible game that had A LOT going on but even this landmark game was missing something and that was multiplayer. Now when the mods starting coming out for boneworks it eventually lead to some very smart people creating a multiplayer MOD for boneworks using Modthatisnotmod, which if youre not familiar with it is a mod manager for boneworks and then the appropriately named multiplayer mod. The mod used discord to set up a server and it started off with you just being able to see your friends but not interact with them directly, but then eventually after some worked it turned into a fully synchronised MP with up to 16 players. Now I know what you're thinking, what does this have to do with bonelab?
Well the majority of people forget that bonelab is being released on the QUEST 2 natively AND on the PC and on the PC you are NOT limited by the meta quests software. This means that when it comes to the PC version of bonelab you have a lot more freedom to change the game with mods in many different way. This means that the same mods that got boneworks up and running in full multiplayer could be used in bonelab, even if it might require the developers to make a few changes, the core program for it to work is already there. So there is no doubt in my mind that MULTIPLAYER will come to bonelab, but only on the PC version. Now will multiplayer come to the native quest version? I just don't know, if it does, it will come in the form of official support from the developers but is that something you'd want to see? let me know below. Thanks for watching
