A lot of people ask me if you can play Boneworks on quest 2 so i made this video to explain how.

For all the gameplay in this video i used Virtual Desktop. Except at the end with physics playground was using quest 2 native.

Can you play Bone works on the quest 2?
Boneworks is not a standalone quest 2 game meaning it will not be on the quest 2 store.
Ive made this diagram to show how you can play boneworks.
If you have a gaming PC capable of running Boneworks you can use a third party app which costs money called virtual desktop. It streams the Boneworks from your gaming PC to your quest 2. For It to be usable you need to be in the same room as your router and your gaming PC needs to be plugged in via ethernet. That’s just my experience. Airlink is oculus version of virtual desktop and it works great it just streams wireless from your computer to quest 2. The last option is oculus link which just involves plugging your quest 2 into your computer with USB cable and you can play the game that way.
If you don’t have a gaming pc and have no other options you can use a cloud PC. This just involves renting a cloud computer and streaming the game from there. Ill leave a good video on how to do this if you have no other options. Ive heard the latency is shocking but if you don’t have a gaming PC its basically your only option.

Once you get it working the controllers work great. It works by grouping your last 3 fingers then your index and thumb. Even if you use the quest 2 in built camera hand tracking the game still groups your last 3 fingers. There is no way of getting individual finger tracking on the quest 2 that I am aware of. The elbow tracking works great. Ive played through the game many times and my preference is to play using virtual desktop.
The devs at Stress Level 0 are working on a similar game called project 4 and Brandon has been teasing it on twitter so hopefully a quest 2 native version is coming soon or at least a similar game.
The closest I got to scratching the Boneworks itch on quest 2 is physics playground. It’s a very basic game but ill leave a link if you need to scratch that itch.
