Bootleg Dubs sets sail with their first original animation! Featuring the kollaborative triple-threat of animation director extraordinaire Alex Henderson, the ‘pirate-metal’ maestros of Alestorm and the bombastic SFX artists at Re-Sound Studio.

“I grew up playing the Rare Donkey Kong Kountry games obsessively, so when I stumbled upon a VHS tape at my local rental shop that kontained a few episodes from the TV series- my little 7 year old brain exploded. I begged my parents to let me rent ‘the Legend of the Krystal Koconut’ over and over until finally, they got so tired of renting it that they gifted it to me as an early birthday present. Fast forward 20+ years: One of my best friends and I are helping develop a music video tribute, set to a recently released ‘pirate-metal’ rendition of a song from the old kartoon! Working alongside Martin, Josh and Alex has been an absolute treat and it’s refreshing to be a part of something where all krew members are united under a kommon goal. To the viewers: I sincerely hope that you all enjoy our modernized approach to these Kremling Kutthroats!”
