Heya. I'm not dead. HOW ABOUT THAT.

I haven't made movies lately because of 0 motivation to do any (along with a bunch of real life stuff getting in the way).

Anyway, decided to make a Borderlands 2 Allegiance Run using Axton with Dahl.

For those that doesn't know (it's also explained in the movie, but whatever):

Allegiance Run means you pick a character, then run through the game using said character using only 1 manufacturer. As in, only their weapons/shields/grenade mods/COMs.
So, in this case, I'm using Axton and can only use Dahl things. Which means no shield until Booster shield starts appearing. Which means I die a lot. Doesn't help matters much I have only played Axton enough in the past to get the "get 100 kills with the turret" achievement, meaning I have next to 0 knowledge how to play him (in terms of builds). Fun times for everyone!

EQUIPMENT OBTAINED THIS MOVIE:
Dahl Basic Repeater - worst gun in the game, but hell, it's a gun. None of the Gearbox equipment are Dahl (Jakobs, Vladof and Hyperion). Even had I gone with them, all of them are banned because they'd make the game too easy (your mileage may vary; I personally ban them when playing, though).

Note that while recording the solo playthrough, I will most likely *not* be recording an allegiance run with others. IF (and that's a major IF) I decide to record it, I'll probably name it 'Coop Allegiance' or something. Names/characters/manufacturers are then gonna be mentioned in the description of each movie.

Here's a brief FAQ about what you might be wondering about it:

Q: WHAT CHARACTERS ARE ALLOWED?
A: Any, but only 1 person/character. So if your girlfriend picks Maya, you cannot pick her. If your boyfriend picks Salvador, you cannot pick him. Example of a how a 4-man coop can look:

AXTON - DAHL
ZER0 - VLADOF
SALVADOR - TORGUE
MAYA - MALIWAN

Q: WHY DO YOU PICK UP MONEY/HEALTH VIALS?
A: Money and health vials are allowed to be picked up by everyone (counts as 'personal' a.k.a no restriction).


Q: Are there any manufacturer that's banned?
A: Pangolin and Anshin. Reason being, they have no weapons.

Q: Can I use Jakobs?
A: If you don't mind going shieldless until you get a Rough Rider.

Q: How come you go with Dahl and Axton?
A: I've barely used Axton and Dahl has a lot of support for him (mostly from COMs). I also got it from the BL2 Allegiance Randomizer on my first shot (which can be found HERE: hyubusa.com/borderlands2/allegiance).

Q: How does the randomizer work?
A: You get a picture of a character (e.g Krieg) along with a manufacturer (e.g Bandit). That's what you'll use. You can re-roll up to 3 times before I consider you cheating. At that point, no matter how bad (e.g Salvador Tediore), you're gonna use it. You cannot use a previous one you rolled. Tough luck.

Q: Is glitches allowed?
A: No.

Q: WHY?????
A: Because it'd make it too easy and/or boring.

Q: Is [manufacturer] allowed?
A: Can they make weapons? If so, yes. Can they not? Then no.

Q: Can I loot stuff that belongs to no one?
A: If no one picks (e.g) Dahl and you find a Dahl weapon, you're free to loot it for the sake of NPC'ing.

Q: HOW COME YOU DIE SO MUCH YOU SUCK???????
A: Rusty as sin. Haven't played for a few months. No shields. Next to 0 knowledge how to build Axton (not relevant until next movie).

Q: BAR?
A: BadAssRank. Disabled to make it more fun.

Q: Is completing challenges against the rules?
A: No. You're gonna complete them, like it or not.

Q: If I use the randomizer and get the same one twice in a row, does that count as 1 try?
A: No. Means you have shitty luck.

Q: Is any combo banned (e.g Jakobs+Gaige)?
A: No, but some might be shittier than others (due to lack of support or synergy)

Q: I picked something that doesn't have weapons until later. What do?
A: You have a melee weapon (lv 1) and an action skill (lv 5). Use them until you get a weapon of your own.
