You can 'borrow' the etech weapon you earn from the Medical Mystery mission as long as you don't turn in the mission and you don't quit the game.

NOTE:

If you die while you have the etech weapon, the game may or may not disappear the weapon. I've seen it happen both ways in practice rounds, e.g., I died and the weapon disappeared when I was ressurrected whereas other times it did not. Thoughts? Post a comment!
