In this video, I show a quick tutorial on how to equip skins and change your character's appearance. Even early on in the game, you'll be able to receive skins and other items that you can activate in your inventory. Simply clicking on a skin item and activating / unlocking it won't actually let you equip it right then and there.

How to equip skins: Go to a Quick Change Personal Transformation Machine. You can find a quick change personal transformation machine in your main base at the start of the game where Lilith / Vaughn usually hang out at - the crimson base.

When you use a personal transformation machine, you can see all the skins you've unlocked. Note that I did not have any of the preorder skins since I only purchased the standard edition, but I assume that you are able to equip your super deluxe / deluxe edition bonuses this way.
