Hey There! I got a new laptop with more firepower for gaming, so I decided to give a try to the first Borderlands game. I got the Game of the Year Enhanced edition, fired it up and tried to get some gaming time going.

Sadly, I hadn't properly configured the recording settings of the GameDVR, thus the video only captured on 30fps. Also I ran into some wonky issues with the display output, on this and other games, where the behavior of fullscreen seems to be swapped with the borderless fullscreen settings. I haven't had the time to properly troubleshoot but I'll get there.

I had to stitch together two captures for this video. In the first half I'm trying to play using my Steam Controller, and failing miserably at it. I'm just far more used to keyboard+mouse combo for an FPS. I tried it because my previous experience on Borderlands was with Borderlands 3, played with an Xbox One controller. The second half I played using my mouse+keyboard combo and there was definitely an upgrade on my performance on the game.

With this new rig I'll try to complete the Assassin's Creed Syndicate game (where I'm about 75% through the main story).
