The quest is part of the main storyline - "Let's Build a Robot Army" and the section you're looking for is "Let Turrets Kill the Scavs" or "Turret Calibration". If you kill the scavs yourself and deny the turrets kills you can rack up a TON of XP, cash, loot and Moonstones. I couldn't see an endpoint for this in a few mins, but it may need more testing. You may also be able to leave the game before the mission finishes to repeat it!

Let me know how it works for you guys if you test it out! If this works it could be one of the fastest leveling techniques in the early to mid game.
