Review: 4/5

I think a bunch of people were butthurt that Pre-Sequel was not Borderlands 3, and that's why it received a lot of the hate that it did. It was likened to a DLC, but I think it stands up almost just as well as Borderlands 2. This game also ended up with six characters, which had some of the most fun action skills in the series to-date, and had a new equipment called Oz kits which enabled some fun verticality and other weird functions in lieu of an artifact. There's just as many guns in this one as the last, and a new element, Cryo, that replaces Slag, and allows you to freeze your enemies. I think the story is just as good as 2, and it provides a good backstory for both why 2 happened and the setup for 3. People complain that the characters aren't as good as in 2, but I'm 99% sure that stems from a slight racist tendency towards Australians.
