Boris Sanchez on Corona SDK
Corona SDK enables developers to code mobile applications in a very short time and simultaneously build for iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Mac/Windows (in the works) for Free! Corona's power lies in its simplicity and performance (using OpenGL). The API is restricted, yet well-selected, which makes it extremely easy to learn and use. Corona was recently purchased by Fuse, a company that provides monetisation options to developers.
Boris has worked with different web and desktop software technologies for more than 7 years after finishing a degree in computer engineering. 5 years ago Boris started indie game development after wanting to do this for many years. He realized that in order to reduce risks and development time he needed to start with something 2D that could be easily published to iOS and Android. Boris has used Corona to quickly prototype ideas before taking them to market.
