Oscilette
Seed: inside Boathouse
Clues: How Weeds Spread, Animal Heartbeat Rates, boardgame rules and playing cards (boathouse)
How to grow: Add soil, seed and water. Bring the pot to the saucer next to the phonograph in the boathouse.To mimic the Red Squirrel heartbeat (120 bpm), take the Meadow Bliss music cylinder from the window and place it on the phonograph. Turn the lever and let it play until the plant grows. (Achievement: Oscilette)
Fool's Emerald
Seed: Formal Garden patio, near blackboard, up the stairs
Clues: News Article (near picnic blanket), Bioluminescence book (near blackboard, up the right stairs), Plant Chemicals (blackboard), Military Codes (Gardening Workspace, left side of empty lilly pool, through arch) and Note about Telegraph (on stepladder), Morse Code (inside telegraph, under boathouse)
How to grow: Add soil, seed and water. Take the pot across the lilly pool and place in the saucer. Bring the telegraph here and input the "Attention" abbreviation (KA) -.- .- (Achievement: Fool's Emerald). While here, use the telegraph again and input an SOS . . . - - - . . . (Achievement: HELP)
Springdance Shrub
Seed: Formal garden folly (gazebo) on the path to the pond
Clues: Greeting Card (side table near blackboard)
Growing Hydrangeas and Pot Catalog (Gardening Workspace, left side of lilly pond, through arch, inside shed), Soil pH Research and Pigment Research (Garden Paths table, past the bird house)
Bird Poster (Bird Garden south, inside building bird garden), Bird Seeds (table, Bird Garden center)
How to grow: Take a Sandstone Pot from the shed in the Gardening Workspace to the nearest potting station. Add soil and seed. Take it back to the Gardening Workspace and use vial of Seaweed. Water it at the potting station. Take the pot through the Bird Garden all the way to the south building, place it on the saucer. Use the birdfeeders to lure the bird to the building to polinate the flower. (Achievement: Springdance Shrub)

Boathouse key: bird garden south, covered structure
White handle: pond garden, by lawnmower (place on pedestal to fill the lilly pool by the stairs and get Achievement: Frogger)
At the end of this chapter, you should also get Achievement: Flower Arranging if you placed all plants in the Flower Room and Achievement: Botanical Researcher for completing all the plants in the Herbarium.
