Boter's Padawan Braid Gets Cut Off!
2I started growing this in 2005. Yes, it's real. *groan* No, my hairdresser didn't miss a spot.
I maintained it at this length for four years. And one week ago today, it was cut off.
The reasons are twofold. First, it needed to come off to continue with my new line of work; while cool and unique, it was also unprofessional, and I agree with that.
Also, there was a lightsaber duel. Later in the year I'll put more in the description about that.
So, to my friends and family, to everyone who thought it was awesome (including the guy in Best Buy that started chatting me up about The old Republic earlier this month because of it), and to everyone who thought it was stupid (including the priceless old lady at the grocery store, "Is that thing real?" "Yes." "Oh my *God*.").
