Since this game came out in 2017 I think we have all seen a decline in the quality of video games being released by AAA studios. We are not going to name names here but I am personally looking for Tears of the Kingdom to deliver on the quality of game it has put out with its most recent mainline Zelda entry in Breath of the Wild. I will save the criticisms I have about this game for any review I make in the future.

This playthrough is being completed on original Switch hardware docked in console mode and with a Zelda branded wired Gamecube controller. I am capturing the video using an Elgato HD60X. For parts of the playthrough that require motion controls I will switch to using Joycons in controller configuration.
