Bought a $38 HP EliteBook 8540w (Part 1 of ?) Please read description
0Read this before commenting. I tried powering it on without the battery, removed the cmos battery with the ram and held the power button down for a minute reseated the keyboard and everything else and still nothing. Tried known good ram too, still nothing. Right now the battery is still charging. The adapter is 130w, 19.5v, 6.7 amps, center positive. If the official adapter doesn't work when it arrives i'll end up buying it a new motherboard. I bought a new CMOS battery too.

HD+ LED display (1600x900)
ATI FirePro M5800 1gb (Compatible with Radeon 5000 driver)
500gb hard drive (removed, possibly shredded)
Runs Windows 11 good
