This C64sunday we take a look at Boulder Dash, game 33 of the Lemon64 top 100 (as of August 31st 2014).
Published by First Star Software in 1984 Boulder Dash was created by Peter Liepa with Chris Gray (Interceptor, Techno Cop) with the music by Peter Liepa. It would seem that Boulder Dash was the only game for the c64 that Peter Liepa made.

Boulder Dash is a game where you are trying to collect enough gems to unlock the exit to the level (cave) you are in and avoid various obsticals at the same time, mainly boulders to start but eventually expanding to include several monsters. It's a fun action puzzle game for the c64 that's definitely worth checking out and if you really like it there are hundreds of player created levels out there created using the in game editor. Stick around after I say I'm giving up as I actually play once more and make it much further.
