So I found this path back when I thought this was the sequence break. I was able to make it about two more pearls further along than where I end the video, but it's a really hard jump and there's another really hard jump two jumps ahead. There's also no checkpoint anywhere, so when you die, you start at the beginning of the video. If there was a checkpoint at the red platform, I could try it, but otherwise I don't have the skill/patience to get to the end of this path to see what happens. I just wanted to show this and hopefully someone with enough skill will get to the end and show everyone. I've used Photo Mode to follow it and it ends at the top of the building where the mosaic is, but I don't know if something happens if you physically get there.

Also, from that first pearl I jump onto, you can long jump to the circular building with the giant pearl in it. From there, you can jump onto the pearl, then long jump to the platform inside. It's a pointless shortcut because you can just easily press a button to get inside instead, but it's possible.
