In this video we do a little bit of pre-race clean up. We prevent the player from being able to drive until the actual race has begun, we disable the in-game HUD attached to the vehicle until the race has begun and we adjust the background of our splash screen. We also create our lap and race record UI elements which we will animate in the next video.
