On Tuesday morning at ASCB 2016, JCB Executive Editor Rebecca Alvania presented Bram Lambrus with the first Alan Hall Travel Award. Lambrus, a graduate student in Andrew Holland's lab at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, received the award for his work on a signaling pathway that arrests cells in response to centrosome loss.
