Brave Fencer Musashi - 15: Snowbound Palace
With Princess Fillet "rescued", Musashi now wants to seize the thieves. With the help of the mercenaries and the Librarian, he decodes a message that leads to the thieves' hideout. He notices that the gate is open...
Upon entering, he sees a woman standing there. While not one of the theives, she does reveal that her name is Gingeralle, That the thieves are known as Leader's Force and that they are no longer in the palace. She then leaves, not even bothering to question who the little boy is... which is an odd move.
Musashi decides to investigate this frozen palace, hoping to find some clues.
-----------------------------------
Small preparations in the beginning. I wanted to obtain the Legendary Gloves before heading to the next place because they are nice to have. So I did some minor training in Twinpeak Mountain before Monday hit, which is when I can get them.
The puzzle to finding the frozen palace is very easily solved once you literally put the 'pieces' together. here's the message the Mercenaries show you if you missed the last video:
[Top] "Meandering Forest, Four Way Path: Gold, Knight, Knight, Knight, Bishop"
[Mid] "Left Right, Right, Left, Straight Ahead"
[Low] "Duh... About the Knight...
D,Don't worry about which way y,you're facing. Go straight ahead (up)"
What you do is slide the Shogi pieces into the directions, leaving them in the same order presented and you will lean of the route you need to take through the forest to reach the palace. The Gold moves a single space any direction (left). The Knight moves one space left or right + two spaces up (Right, Right, Left). The Bishop moves two spaces in any direction (Straight Ahead).
That's how to do it. I've seen a lot of people puzzled by this and of course they go running to Gamefaqs for directions...
So here comes the dungeon that many players hate, it's the Frozen Palace.
