Brave Fencer Musashi - Part 1: Title Screen & Intro
Now begins the first of two playthroughs over 3 months in the making! My first JRPG and the first one I played from Square Enix back when it was just called Square or Squaresoft.
I will be uploading videos of this game in tendem with its less-successful sequel, Musashi Samurai Legend. However, that game has more videos than this one, so please bare with me.

It was a dark cloudy night, and we are shown a castle known as Allucaneet Palace. It was under attack!
Some of the palace's people were able to seek refuge underground: Steward Ribson, Butler Livers, Alchemist Leanman, Scribe Shanky, and their princess, Princess Fillet.
According to Livers, these mysterious foes waited until Fillet's parents, the King & Queen of Allucaneet, went on a vacation trip.
The room everyone is in now has a huge green crystal called Binchotite, one that they can use to summon a hero to help them.
That's just what the princess does! Praying upon the green crystal, Fillet uses her magic to release its power and bring forth a being known as Brave Fencer Musashi.
They're disappointed with the result, because this Brave Fencer is smaller than they thought he was. They even think this isn't the real Musashi.
Apparently Musashi was taking a nap standing up, and he got a rude awakening when he heard Fillet call him "puny". It got a bit worse when he called everyone's close "stupid" and even worse than that when Fillet called him a "little turd".
So in short. Things got off on a bad start, but now wasn't the time for that. As Musashi was summoned with the Binchotite's power, he'll die once all of that vanishes. He's pretty pissed off about all of this.
Musashi's first mission is to head to Spiral Tower. The tower is located behind Allucaneet Palace, where the Sword of Luminecence, Lumina, awaits. Musashi is given Lumina's sheath, a note on how to reach that sword, and a different sword known as Fusion, which has a special ability called Assimilate.
Both irritated and impatient to get this done with already, Musashi quickly heads to Spiral Tower through the dark mystic forest behind Allucaneet Palace in order to get Lumina, a.k.a., Raygund.
--------------
Several Bincholoid soldiers are on the loose here, as well as some plants mutated by Binchotites. The rest of this video covers how the combat is in the game, as well as some of the abilities Musashi can assimilate, such as Perfume and Gunshot.
You even have to use Gunshot to shoot down some logs in order to cross a large river.
