Third of the Crystal Bosses, Chaugmar is the first real wall in a normal game. For this challenge, however, he was actually easier to handle than I expected.

He was easy due to only one reason though: Damage Dispersion. At first, every single of his attacks killed a character for me, which made surviving three turns quite tedious. When I scanned over passives and saw Damage Dispersion, however, it occurred to me that his Blood Suck has a maximum of the targets current HP in damage. If that is split, wouldn't it mean everyone survives?

And I was right, it did. As his Blood Suck is his most common attack when the shield is up, this actually worked rather well and gave me three turns to Buff Up. Only things I had to look out for were his uncommon melee attack and his BP Drain, which he used on Edea. I even got a free MP Drain turn this time around, which is not too common either.

As for Specials, again with buffing from Lux and other sources to get up to 200% P.Atk, buffing Thundaga on weapons to have his weakness when attacking and then striking whatever out of him with hack and Slash and normal attacks.
