Bravely Default LLG Part 19 - Behemoth
If the Behemoth decides to use Roar first turn, it is game over. If he does not, the battle is decided by how good Paralysis is controlling him. I used Overpower Spear Special, which has a Paralysis effect by default and added Paralysis Touch to it to better the chances. To make them even higher, I had the Withering Ripple Rod Special set to reduce Paralysis Resistance.
All in all, as Behemoth attacked one of my Lux users first turn, the battle was quite easy. I kept the second Withering Ripple until a bit later as Paralysis Res Down is not shown as status ailment, but should only be kept for around 4 turns. The it was just dealing damage and re-applying paralysis as it ran out. Still, the Behemoth has a hefty 108,000 HP, which takes a while to reduce even with elemental weaknesses exploited to the max. On this behalf, note that the Trident on Edea has Lightning element automatically, so it was not much of a damage loss to have her use Examine.
With this battle, chapter 3 is concluded. From now on, Norende Shops of level 7 will be allowed, which will give the final level 2 Specials, Bloody Shields, LüBu's Spear and the 40% Damage Special Part.
