With the long stretch that was Chapter 3, Chapter 4 begins quite easy. The Ice Golem is easy enough with Utsusemi and Agnes can survive with the Iceflame Shield to boot, so there is not too much trouble here.

The Guardian has a slower AGI stat than the Ice Golem, but from experience it has a Speed % passive (likely 20%) so that a good bit more AGI is required to always go first. Again, easy enough with Utsusemi and the Lightning weakness can be exploited pretty well. I also took the liberty to charge three Special skills to be prepared for Victoria, with Agnes already having hers from previous battles.

The Dragon Zombie.. well, is not a problem in any game I guess. Two Phoenix Downs take care of it.

Now for the dreaded battle, Victoria and Victor. This one is a classical wall to overcome in challenges, mainly because the two use magic, unlike most other enemies. Victor is the less deadly one because he only has Holy and his base Attack that will kill someone, while his other skills even use multiple BP on top of not doing a thing. Thus, Victoria got focused down by a multitude of pre-charged Special skills and attacks while under the Sngstress P.Atk buff, but I had to survive a few turns for BP and Turn Order reasons, which worked out well enough most of the time due to Spirit Barrier. With some recovery time due to negative BP during which Victor goes cry, the battle becomes slower paced when it is just against a Spiritmaster.

Stillness comes in pretty handy right away when battling Gigas Lich. I decided I should have gotten the MP Free in a Pinch Red Mage Job level 5 passive long ago, as it would have helped with Stillness tremendously (Free BP Conversion when HP Critical, which can be forced with either Lava from Temple of Fire or Poison Pools for Miasma Woods) and thus got it for Tiz. I would simply get some other sources for the few JP needed if I were to remake the run though. Anyway, with Stillness to protect from his attacks, the bad things left are his Death and Dread attacks. Dread is not as bad, but has the potential to eat up Tiz BP. Death can be protected from using Safety Rings, but only three are available so far. For that reason, Agnes got a Reflect Ring, which protects from spells for the first few turns and she would just get revived if hit by Death later on. Though, due to her not acting too much, her threat is low and she barely gets single targeted throughout the battle. Also to note, I could have just Bravely Second + Elixir him, it is not forbidden in the ruleset. However, I would like to not use Bravely Second as long as it is not totally needed - and so far it wasn't.

DeRosso is also mostly Utsusemi.

Now that I finally had the Vampire Job, it was time to face the mighty Alraune pack and learn Paralyzing Pollen. Again, never know when those specialized Genomes will come in handy. Better safe than sorry.

Mephilia was just a pushover.

Last for the first set of bosses is Alternis. He has no attacks that can bypass Utsusemi, and the only things that can deal damage to Dark Shield wielding Agnes are his normal Attack and Minus Strike. Whyever such a pushover is technically a very special boss kind of eludes me.
