The first battles with Sky Knight Grunts were still done in the starting equipment obviously have no access to Norende Gifts to make things faster.

Still, with some Brave and Default in the right moments, it only required a few resets to keep both party members alive without even using a Potion.

After the Grunts, Norende became available. I got myself a hundred villagers from Homepass, maxed out the village, and got a lot of gifts from it by opening the cartridge every now and then.

From the aquired money, I bought 4x Kenpo Gi in Caldisla. Speed is king!

Holly and Barras get examined and die to a single Tengu Yawn. Wind is arguably the weakest of the 5 elements as only one enemy is weak to it (one of the Keystone Dragons) and the only thing pushing its power is very limited (Gale Staff). Earth can easier be pushed with Gaia Gear, but has not a single enemy that is weak to it. Fire and Water have a few enemies, and Lightning has a lot of enemies that are weak to it.

Next comes Ominas. He has a larger HP pool, but still goes down in one turn. Four Tengu Yawns, an Examine and a bunch of Attacks, with Ringabel being a Monk, did the trick.

I switched everyone to Black Mages now because I want the Damage Dispersion passive at some point. The Sky Grunts still die in a single Tengu Yawn, and those Unscathed 1-turn Sweeper Bonuses begin to build up.

For Heinkel, I bought a Red Cap that Edea is wearing as well as an Ogre's Club for Ringabel. The Rod allows him to get Heinkel in 4 Zeus's Wrath, and the Red Cap allows Edea to Examine him prior to that. The JP modifier (Unscathed) jumps to 1.2, giving a little edge on Job Levels.
