Ahh, Breakdown. I recall first getting this game after reading good things about it on Kurt's website (Hardcore Gaming 101). Its a interesting FPS that combines shooting and Hand-to-Hand combat into a real-time, immerse experience. Not only does it represent quality work when developers think outside of the box but is a prime example of a game where you can clearly see the company enjoying their work. It is hard. It is frustrating at times. But it is one of the best experiences I've had in gaming.

The system is like your typical FPS, you control Cole with the two analog sticks, similar to Halo, but you also have use of the x button to interact with a variety of objects and events, and using the triggers in specific motions with the sticks allows you to utilize a fine array of hand-to-hand moves. With what's available, its completely up to the player how to approach combat; a relatively non-linear system to the fighting missing in many of today's games.

There are four difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard and Expert. I am playing on Expert Difficulty level. I'm a bit rusty, so forgive me for winging it at times. This will dissolve in my later vids. Hope you enjoy it.
