BreakThru was a quirky arcade game from the mid-80s by Data East. You control a futuristic car that can do amazing maneuvers that would make Speed Racer jealous. Your goal was to cross several themed levels – mountains, bridge, city, etc. You are armed, but munitions are limited. There are powerups that come into play but not often enough. There are far mor than enough bland military units to destroy though. Commodore Amiga fans can add this arcade game port to their game library right now with the 1.1 version.
