Take the line scrolling from the floor of Street Fighter II and apply it almost everywhere. That is parallax textures in a nutshell. A lot of people are focusing on getting Doom to run on everything while others are working on improving the graphics. Here, we are looking at Doom II which does not receive near the love the original does and that is a shame. Thankfully lack of love by many has not stopped the few from continuing to improve Doom II.
