EDIT: I guess a lot of people are finding this vid looking for a walkthrough for shrines in this region, so at the very least, here are a few tips.
1) Look for a cracked wall very nearby the stable.
2) Check behind waterfalls. A good rule of thumb for any adventure game.

In which I stumble through a rain forest, fail to find any of the shrines my radar is going on about, and try to fight my first dragon!
