A tribute essay to Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, and the Nintendo Switch -- and how their legacies are intertwined (both explicitly and implicitly). Since last year, I've been thinking about the way the developers portray Sheikah technology in these games. With the Switch 2's announcement, though, I see it in a new light.
