Bringing Graphical Applications to Oniro on the Example of React Native

The Oniro project aims to run on devices big and small. In practice this means Linux as well as RTOS systems. With a stable base of the Oniro 2.0 release from end of last year the project is now looking into different application frameworks to create vertical solutions for all scenarios.
Stefan will dive into this years work on integrating OpenHarmony with Oniro to enhance application and ecosystem support. The talk will focus on ArkUI/JS as the main UI framework of OpenHarmony and React Native as a well-known cross-platform UI framework with a huge existing ecosystem.
Kacper and Juliusz from Software Mansion will tell you why React Native for
Oniro is a good idea and how they contributed to the development of Open Harmony.
After a short introduction of React Native and what it is all about. They will move on and present to you how to actually connect React Native and the Oniro ecosystem. By the end of the presentation, the attendees will gain knowledge on how integrating React Native with Oniro can help developers bring existing software to Oniro and encourage cross-platform development
