BRINGING IN THE NEW YEAR | Let's Plat Persona 3 Reload - Part 17
0We kicked off the new year by spending time at the Shrine along with completing several Social Links and setting up more story elements for what we may have to deal with later which included some interesting reveals. Now we only have to complete the remaining Tartarus segment.
1:31:45 - People Person Trophy/Achievement - As you are playing the game you will be interacting with a variety of different characters which will allow you to spend time with them to increase their Social Link Rank as well as unlock access to newer ones. In the case of some of the female Social Links you are also able to romance them. There are 21 Social Links in total and in order to unlock them all you need to ensure that you have some of your Social Stats high enough in order to talk with them outside of the general chats they provide. Some of these will automatically unlock for you as part of the story or are immediately available from the first point you can talk to them. You also need to ensure that you are on the right path toward the Good Ending by choosing to spare Ryoji on December 31st and in some cases you also need to progress some Social Links to a certain rank so that you can unlock other ones. You will know that a character is available to have their Social Link unlocked when you see a blue Tarot Card icon above their heads. Keep in mind that for this trophy/achievement you are only required to unlock each Social Link as opposed to maxing out each Social Link which is its own trophy/achievement.
The following is a list on how to unlock each Social Link for both the Social Ranks that unlock from progressing through them along with the Social Stats required to start some of them:

The following is a list of the Social Links that are locked behind others assuming you are doing this without using a guide. Keep in mind that some of these may require Social Stats but will at least make those requirements known when you talk to them for the first time:
Temperance Social Link - Reach Rank 3 in the Hierophant Social Link.
Justice Social Link - Join the Student Council required to start the Emperor Social Link and then talk to Chihiro on 5 separate occasions outside of the student council.
Strength Social Link - After reaching Rank 2 in the Chariot Social Link ask Yuko to walk home together.
Devil Social Link - Reach Rank 4 in the Hermit Social Link.
Sun Social Link - Reach Rank 3 in the Hanged Man Social Link for Akinari to appear during this event and become available as a Social Link.
Tower Social Link - Either reach Rank 4 in the Strength Social Link or Rank 3 in the Chariot Social Link then speak to Yuko who will inform you of the monk at the nightclub.
Moon - Reach Rank 3 in the Magician Social Link and when you talk to them in class they will mention the Moon Social Link from around the 22nd of September and onwards.
