DON'T FEAR THE REAPER | Let's Plat Persona 3 Reload - Part 18
0While we didn't progress a lot in terms of the days we are now finished with Tartarus as well as our Social Links. There is a chance we may complete everything in the next stream although this will depend on how long it takes to do the remaining requests but as of right now we are in free time.
31:01 - Birthday Present Trophy/Achievement - When you obtain Personas through fusion or in Shuffle Time you may notice some have a heart icon when you view their moves. This is a Persona Conception and when you level the Persona up enough levels you obtain an item that can be used to make weapons, armour and accessories from Mayoido Antiques. When you have obtained an item from a Persona Conception you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
2:19:42 - Tempting Fate Trophy/Achievement - As you are playing you can fuse Personas to make new ones and sometimes when you do this you are able to do a skill change. You will know that a skill change has occurred when the skills are highlighted in yellow. When you have triggered a skill change during fusion you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
2:49:01 - Fusion Artisan Trophy/Achievement - As you are playing you are able to fuse Personas to make new ones. Some are these are considered Special Fusions and require more than 2 Personas to fuse. When you have performed a fusion with three or more Personas you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
3:44:17 - Path To Salvation Trophy/Achievement - As you are playing you can fuse Personas together to make newer ones. One of the stronger ones is Messiah and in order to fuse for it you need to do a few things. First you need to reach Floor 256 as part of the story to get the Judgment Social Link to Rank 10. You also need to reach Level 91 which assuming you have been fighting every enemy you may have already reached it. If not you can defeat the Reaper by waiting in Tartarus which gives you 600,000 experience without any bonus experience from Shuffle Time or experience boosting accessories. If you have obtained the Sun Major Arcana card you can fuse for Personas that are 5 levels higher than your level. Some of the Personas required to fuse Thanatos such as Pale Rider and Alice require multiple fusion materials. To fuse Thanatos you need Pisaca, Pale Rider, Loa, Samael, Mot and Alice. Then you can fuse Orpheus and Thanatos to make Messiah. When you have fused Messiah you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
4:10:04 - Reaper Reaped Trophy/Achievement - As you are making your way through Tartarus you will be informed when you reach the 62nd floor about the Reaper. From this point the Reaper will spawn when you spend too long on a floor. (around 3-5 minutes) At first you get a warning and then another when the Reaper has spawned. You will know the Reaper is moving around if you hear chains and the Reaper will track your movements until a battle is initiated. On some floors the Reaper is more likely to spawn faster. (around 1-2 minutes) The gimmick of the fight is that it will exploit your weaknesses and chain several moves together along with buffs and debuffs. If you play on Safe difficulty even if you die you will respawn and can continue the fight. Assuming you are at a significant level you shouldn't have a problem winning so long as you keep your health up and removing any debuffs. If you are not on Safe difficulty then you have a higher chance to die and even though there are many ways to deal with the fight it will be more important to open up your possibilities. 5:33:20 - A Legacy Of Friendships Trophy/Achievement - As you are playing you will interact with a variety of different characters who you can spend time with to increase their Social Link Rank as well as unlock access to newer ones. There are 21 Social Links in total and to max them out you need to ensure you have your Social Stats high enough to talk with them outside of the general chats they provide. You also need to be on the path to the Good Ending by choosing to spare Ryoji on December 31st and in some cases you need to progress some Social Links to a certain rank to unlock other ones. A character is available to do their Social Link when you see a blue Tarot Card icon above their heads. When you spend time with a Social Link you gain bonus points if you have a Persona of the corresponding Arcana.
