Around 280 turtle nests have been recorded within the British Sovereign Base Areas in Cyprus this year, the second-highest number in 14 years.

Despite the success, sea turtles in Cyprus are still at risk and remain a protected ‘priority species’. But the military community are doing their bit to help.
