Brittle Blooper by Jirachi7 [MARIO MAKER 2]
537Power up precision crew level that's a bit harder than it looks.
I avoided this level for a few weeks because big Mario's hitbox makes some jumps a lot tighter. Mainly the edge landings next to saws, and the buffer jumps. I was able to get used to the tighter edge landings relatively quickly, but the buffer jumps took a lot of practice. Since you have to be holding run the whole time to keep the blooper alive, it's very easy to get too much momentum, which will make you jump just high enough to kill the blooper with the plants above you, even if you timed the buffer jump correctly. Eventually I decided to remap down to ZL and R to jump, which made it a lot more manageable as I only had to focus on tapping left and timing my jumps while I held ZL to stay ducked and Y to keep the blooper.
The rest of the level isn't free, a lot of jumps are still tighter than they seem, but at least I knew how to do the hard tricks now. And I was sure that if I made it to the last trick I'd clear the level on that attempt. But nah, turns out that fast paced section was also pretty tight, so I had quite a few runs where I was barely too slow and the red blocks turned off so I couldn't get in the door. I also died on the 4 ice block jump a lot for some reason. But after all those silly deaths I cleared the level. It looks pretty cool when you get it, and we don't often see power up precision levels, which is why I decided to upload my clear video of it.
