"Brock Through Walls" - Youngster path manipulation and walk through walls (Red/Blue)
Read description for more information:
BIG MISTAKE in this video. The Pokémon's second and third PP should be 16 and 36 respectively, not the other way round. It only worked for me because working data was at D196 (10 24 00 0F - Poke 1 Bulbasaur's Special was 16 (10h); Poke 2 Pidgey's species was (24h), Pidgey's HP was 15 (000F)). Also, you need to view the Pokémon's summary with it at the last position of the party to put the data in CFB6.
Thanks to Sanky, 0xwas and Mr Wint and a TASVideos thread for teaching me a bit about path manipulation.

When you talk to the youngster who takes you to Brock's gym from the right (possible through a Rival's/Jack effect item, or using the Brock skip glitch), the game looks for your coordinates (y=10h, x=24h or 0x1024). After it finds your coordinates (it may find them in the memory), it reads the two bytes after it as a path pointer.
Walk through walls is possible. Apparently (I haven't verified this for myself) the cause of walk through walls is that the path may be so long that too much data is written to the memory. You can walk through walls when you hold down B, like in the museum guy walk through walls glitch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DX4vQlgdBCM
The following set-ups let you use a 'walk through walls enabling path', but the start menu will keep popping up if you don't hold down B.
Red/Blue:
Lv. 8 Pokémon with 16 Tackle PP and 36 Growl PP, having the moves in the 2nd and 3rd slot and no 4th move. (coordinates y=10h x=24h, path location=0800)
Remember to put the Pokémon at the bottom of the party and view its status before talking to the youngster.
Red/Green (v1.1):
Open and close the Pokémon menu, with Rattata's mini-sprite for the third Pokémon and Charmander's mini-sprite for the fourth Pokémon (CC7C+ = 10 24 00 30). Don't have another Rattata mini-sprite Pokémon before this.
There is also a similar glitch if you talk to the youngster from one step above him that probably works the same way but with the game looking for different coordinates.
Yellow:
This set up technically works (tested on both BGB and VBA), but problem is you have to get past the youngster without beating Brock, and get a level 100 Pokémon with the correct PPs. I don't know of a way.
Remember you have to deliver Oak's Parcel to do a trade, and 255 Pokémon make that harder, plus in Yellow the prevented progress glitch occurs if you have more than 1 owned Pokémon, which will be a result of corruption if you swap two of the 255 Pokémon to get an expanded (20+) items pack, and this is required for a wrong warp. You seemingly can't beat Blue without depositing the 255 Pokémon; requiring use of a Pokémon storage PC and there isn't one in Pallet Town.
10 PP left on move 3. (0Ah)
36 PP left on move 4. (24h)
Pokémon is level 100. (64h)
Pokémon has 256-511 max HP. (01h)
Remember to put the Pokémon at the bottom of the party and view its status before talking to the youngster.
