With 1.71 came two new maps for use in ground forces (with a possible third, the April Fools map from this year) mainly due to the introduction of Rank VI units, though in my opinion at least the vast majority of "Tank maps" are Arcade-sized and limit the gameplay to the same extent as World of Tanks.

So are the new maps any good? Well as with pretty much everything else added in 1.71 they're rushed and with many "features" (read bugs) and it'll take Gaijin another 3 months to a year to possibly fix them... ))))

The video shows footage from a few games on the new Japan and Fulda gap maps, I've edited the footage down substantially from what was available.

I'll do a video covering the new spawn protection feature soon™.
