BRUTAL DOOM IS NOT A TRASH, But Why?
1,163Oh Brutal Doom, Brutal Doom you are so controversial, to such point that people want to make quick & poorly researched videos. First of all, Brutal Doom has options and some of the features are toggleable like NEW WEAPONS, ENEMIES or RELOADING. If one is about to explore the Brutal Doom Options (available straight from the Main Menu once booted) there will be some mod options to change. When you don't like Assault Shotguns, Railguns, Grenade Launchers or Machine Guns, just disable them.
Another thing is the ADS - with all respect, it's a very useful feature especially when you use the Pump-Action Shotgun. The rate of fire is much faster in this mode and with placed headshots you can eliminate the weak Zombies or Imps without any problems. Another useful thing with this is a possibility to eliminate lots of weaker enemies in a short time + shotgun shells can kill more than one enemy with good placed shot.
No, Submachine Gun and Assault Rifle are not useless once you pick up the Minigun or Machine Gun. Submachine Gun uses pistol bullets opposite to the Assault Rifle or Minigun, its main feature is a backup weapon at short distances with better rate of fire than pistol. Like some weapons of Brutal Doom, it can be dual-wielded but source did not show it.
Same with Assault Rifle, it's one of the two (other the Railgun) sniping weapons with almost perfect accuracy, opposite to the Chaingun/Minigun it uses way less rounds. Headshots with Assault Rifle are perfect against Hell Knights or Revenants.
No, Fire Axe is not useless, especially when you pick the Demon Strength Rune or Berserk Pack because its damage is increased and you can kill Pinkies with one swing. Additionally what OP from source video did not mention, you can strike multiple enemies with it without locking to the enemies like Chainsaw does.
TLDR; if you make a video about a mod, play it way more than up to the Crusher from DOOM 2 and explore options.
