Bryan Kohberger Can't Hide EVERYTHING

In the early hours of November 13, 2022, Bryan Kohberger, a criminology Ph.D. student at Washington State University, fatally stabbed four University of Idaho students—Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin—in their off-campus residence in Moscow, Idaho. The victims were likely asleep when attacked, and some had defensive wounds. Kohberger was arrested on December 30, 2022, in Pennsylvania, after DNA from a knife sheath at the crime scene linked him to the murders. He was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary. On July 2, 2025, Kohberger pleaded guilty to all charges in a deal that spared him the death penalty. On July 23, 2025, he was sentenced to four consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole. While the motive for the killings remains unknown, I have analyzed the body language of Kohberger during an impact statement delivered by the sister of one of his victims in order to hopefully gain further understanding into his psychology.
