This is my review of one of my favorite entry-level books on nonverbal communication, kinesics, and body language. That book is "What Every Body Is Saying" by Joe Navarro. If you haven't read this book, and you're even remotely interested in the field, I couldn't suggest it enough. While it has some slight shortcomings here and there, I confidently can promote it here on the channel, knowing the experience, effort, and intentionality that went into creating the volume. Navarro does an excellent job at simplifying the nuanced world of nonverbal communication into a palatable form, laid out over 9 chapters. If you want to change how you see the world around you, check this book out!
