00:18 BUDDY HIELD: Like, yeah. I mean, it's — I feel like being on the other side, when they call a ticky-tack foul one way and after that, like me in the corner when I get fouled. And after that — and of course you get a turnover. And then they get a fast break and they score an and-one and we don't get nothing out of that. But just, I mean, I guess it can be a little more consistent, but — and they probably said they didn't see the foul, but you know how they go. So we just gotta try to figure ways to move past that and just move on to the next. It could have cost us a game, but we weathered the storm and we figured it out. But yeah, I think they kind of messed up a lot. But it's the game. You can't come and go back and turn and turn it around.
01:10 How do you feel? I mean, overall you guys played them. I mean, obviously it's another thing —
01:14 I think we played great until they started doing that. I think they tried to junk up the game and hats off to Memphis, they were aggressive. But I just think that when they call ticky-tack fouls on one side, they gotta call it back the other way. You can't just reward them because we're up by 15, up by 17. I think if we get a — if we deserve a call, we should get it. That's all I'm saying.
01:37 How do you feel about your team's defense? You gave up 48 in the first half, 70 in the second half. Is that a function of what you just talked about, or did the defense sort of drop off at all?
01:47 We gotta go back and watch film. I think that we were doing pretty good till the last three, four minutes when they started junking the game up. But hats off to Memphis. They played great. They didn't stop. But we gotta do better job closing the game. I gotta do a better job securing the ball. And I turned the ball over, too, in the crunch time. But some of those, I think I got fouled on, but the referee didn't call and blow the whistle, so I gotta move on to the next play.
02:17 You've been sort of the leader of the of the second unit, coming off the bench. You guys scored 67 tonight, I think, off the bench, averaging 58, which leads at the league. How much pride, I guess, do you have as one of the main guys in that group?
02:33 Just trying to keep the guys level-headed, trying to get the right — make the right basketball play, especially when we mix and match and when playing with the starters, too. Just keeping everybody even-keeled and just playing basketball the right way. But keeping the pace up and trying not to give up the lead when the starters lead because you don't wanna put the starters in a deficit and I think we're doing it. We all did a great job back and forth, keeping the lead and then third gonna the fourth to the last five minutes, I feel like we take the gas off the pedal, I mean, take our feet off the pedal, but we just gotta keep being consistent, keep trusting each other and keep moving the ball, sacrificing and keep making the right play. I felt like I could've made more plays for my teammates down the stretch and I didn't. Watch film, learn, growth from that and keep moving on.
03:26 In the NBA Cup, the margin of victory matters and it seemed clear that they were really playing till the end, calling timeouts, fouling. How much of a different feel does that give a game?
03:36 That's where we at right now, but it was fun. I like it. Shit, I would have scored till the end…
