Building a Gaming PC with Kids
I finally got sick of my kids asking for a turn on my PS5. So I decided to build them Gaming PC. Ok, I have wanted to do the same, for a while and I was sick of Sushir and Jay raving about Steam Sales.
The initial plan was to build a gaming PC for about 500$. But as I researched and that price point looked very impractical. I used a mix of used and new parts for the build, and ended up with the following.
++++SPECIFICATIONS++++
GPU Used RTX3060 270
Case Used Cougar Solution 20
PSU New High Power 650 60
CPU New AMD Ryzen 5
MOBO New Gigabyet B450M WiFi
RAM New Teamgroup 2*8GB DDR 4
SSD New Toshiba 256 GB 25
CPU+MOBO+RAM 332.2
=================================
Total 707.2

I cheaped out on the Case, since that had the least impact on performance. I also went for a used RTX 3060 since that provided me the best performance/price ratio. Everything apart from that buying New over Used didn't push me back by more 10% or so.
Please feel free to ask any questions, and give me recommendations to try out on MY, ahhem our new Gaming PC.
