Building a Metroidvania: Soribel (#11)
This is the eleventh video in our series of building a metroidvania. In this stream, we work more on our enemy drake's AI. More specifically, we gave our enemy the ability to walk back and forth and be able to detect when to turn its body upon reaching a wall or the edge of the ground. We also discussed and explained to viewers the idea behind "visual scripting" and provided other beginner tools that can be used for anyone that is looking to get into game development without feeling intimidated. We concluded by giving our player the ability to take damage from our enemy drake. We are once again very appreciative of the consistent interaction & support from our followers! Thank you all!
