This is the eighth video in our series of building a metroidvania. In this stream, we work more on our health system and setup a basic respawn for the player. This was our last stream of 2021!

We are overwhelmed by the support from you all to close out the year. We are truly grateful and can't wait to continue putting in work on our metroidvania, that now has a working titular character and title: Soribel! The character has influence from Afro-Latina roots and we have an incredibly compelling story to tell. We are also excited to announce that we will be testing the waters as variety streamers and providing you gaming content on Wednesdays (more on this to come). We would also like to shout out some recent commissions: our friend FeelGoode, aka @feelgoode114 on Instagram crafted some really cool beats for our stream and we premiered them the other day. The other commission comes from Lord_Bung on Twitter who drew the three of us representing our favorite metroidvanias and what we're best at. We are blown away by the work of both of these individuals and are super grateful to them. When we started streaming in January 2021, we really didn't think we would get this far and it's only looking up from here. Whether you joined our journey in the beginning, somewhere in the middle, or you've just caught wind of us, we're glad you're here and we're looking forward to the journey!
