Landslide is a Bukkit plugin which heavily changes the way certain types of blocks are allowed to stack and fall. By default, the plugin makes it impossible to stack dirt (and grass)/sand/gravel, and makes those blocks largely useless as building materials. It also makes it possible to create some pretty impressive landslides, especially in biomes like Extreme Hills, where there are many dirt cliffs. Landslide can be configured with any block type, e.g. you can discourage building with cobblestone by giving it a chance to crumble and slide.
