Set five years after Rainbow Six: Vegas, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is the seventh Rainbow Six installment. It gives the player the opportunity to customize "Bishop", the game's protagonist, instead of putting them in the shoes of Logan Keller, the protagonist of the original Rainbow Six: Vegas. Rainbow Six: Vegas 2's plot occurs before, concurrent to, and after the original Vegas, thus being a prequel, side-story, and sequel.
