Pick up his gun and use it against the next wave of Skulls. With the area cleared, follow Triska down the next pathway. Use the Dropkit at the end, then head up the steps where you will have a huge battle waiting for you.
You'll have to fight off a lot of enemies here, so if you get overwhelmed, simply retreat down the steps to regain your composure. Remember to use your surrounding environment to your advantage in order to help you get to the top.
ACHIEVEMENT: Follow Trishka over to the left near the Nom parasite plant. Kick one of the Noms toward the nearby Maneater to earn the "Om Nom Nom!" Achievement.
Be wary of other Maneaters as you continue along the path. Follow Trishka up the steps and on into the next area. Use the Dropkit after you drop down into the dark, jungly terrain.
